A Good System Should Just Run

Reduce Shipping Errors with UPS and the e-Merchandizer

Dec 2 2005

Automatically populate World Ship to all but eliminate data entry errors.

Some people don't know that there's a fee charged by UPS when you send a package to the wrong address. While there are tools to avoid incorrect data entry, sooner or later it's going to happen. Typos happen. When you take an online order there's a need to get the address and name into the UPS World Ship software to create your shipping labels.

That data can now be transfered automatically from the e-Merchandizer backend manager into the UPS software. This all happens when you simply enter the order number into World Ship.

For a company that was experiencing 2 to 4 errors per month this equates to hundreds of dollars in savings.
